Why? What led to the fact that bats found themselves in the Red Book of Ukraine? All of this was mainly due to our actions: deforestation, using of pesticides, and just persecution because myths about bats are quite popular. However, life of bats does not allow them to spread in large numbers. They migrate over long distances and can only give birth to 1-2 cubes per year, and it happens that a female may simply lose their baby.
